Kevin J Robertson: Managing Director Executive

Mr Robertson entered the mining industry in 1972 and has been actively involved, mostly at a senior level, in various mining operations throughout Tasmania and Western Australia, including positions of Open Pit Supervisor for the Savage River Iron Ore Mining Operation in Tasmania and as Mine Manager for a gold mining operation in Coolgardie, Western Australia. Mr Robertson is a certified quarry manager and has gained considerable experience in the gold mining industry from project development through to production.

Con Markopoulos: Director Non Executive

Mr Markopoulos is a tactical business manager with extensive networks and experience in the global mining and natural resources industry. He has significant international business experience gained in large and complex global and national industrial, mining and retail businesses. He has substantial experience in the resource industry and expert knowledge of Project Analysis and Management, Strategic Procurement of goods and services and Raw Material Purchasing. Mr Markopoulos was previously the Chairman and CEO for Golden West Resources and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Ironstone Resources Limited and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Markopoulos joined the Fairstar Board as a Non-Executive Director in April 2010.

Wayne Yiu-Wing Wan: Director Non Executive

Mr Wan has a depth of experience in trading commodities, in particular with iron ore. He also brings technical expertise in plant operations and corresponding safety and environmental compliance, as well as a host of valuable contacts in the Hong Kong and China iron and steel industry.

Mr Wan joined the Fairstar Board as a Non-Executive Director in June 2012.

Madhukar Bhalla: Company Secretary

Madhukar has extensive management and accounting experience gained in a variety of businesses in Australia and overseas.

His core capabilities cover financial control, budgeting and business planning, marketing, supply and procurement, contract management, insurance and business operation/production generally.

Madhukar is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and Chartered Secretaries Australia (CSA); as well as a Member of the Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
